Mackersey Development Limited was formed in 2003 by David Mackersey as a stand-alone property development and management company focusing and specialising in Hawke’s Bay commercial properties.
Based in Havelock North, the company today has an extensive portfolio covering Havelock North, Hastings, Taradale, Ahuriri and Napier.
From 1988 David managed the family construction company which was started by his father John Charles Mackersey in 1948, as well as having full management responsibility for the extensive family property portfolio.
Today, Mackersey Development Limited specialises in property development, property management and leasing and can attend to all your commercial, retail and residential property needs from development right through to managing and leasing. Our aim is to provide a ‘one stop shop’ to assist the client and provide an all-inclusive service.
Founder and Managing Director
David is the founder and Managing Director of Mackersey Development Limited and has over 25 years of experience within the residential and commercial property sector. He also has over 40 years of involvement in the building industry in Hawke’s Bay. David has been involved in many local directorships including HBS Building Society (now SBS Bank) and Hastings District Properties Ltd. David is a current director of MCL Construction Ltd.
David is passionate about building and development in Hawke’s Bay and has completed many successful projects.
Property Manager and Director
Annah joined Mackersey Development in 2012 and is responsible for the daily operations of the business. She also specialises in looking after premises for lease, building compliance, insurance and is the point of contact for all agents and prospective tenants.
Annah has worked within the corporate sector in various management and key account management positions.
Louise joined Mackersey Development in 2018 as Development Manager specialising in the feasibility of developments, project management and portfolio management. Louise is the point of contact for prospective developments and property management clients.
Louise has over 15 years of experience in the property industry as a Registered Property Valuer specialising in the commercial and industrial property sector. Louise is a Senior Member of the Property Institute of New Zealand (SPINZ) and an Associate of the New Zealand Institute of Valuers (ANZIV).
Andrea joined Mackersey Development in 2016 as Accounts Administrator, where she is responsible for all financial and accounting matters. Andrea carries out monthly financial management reporting for our clients and provides full accounting services through to year end.
Andrea has an extensive background in accounts and office administration.
